Antenna RT4

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Antenna RT4 , formerly Radio RT4 , was a private radio broadcaster based in Reutlingen . The station began broadcasting on November 9, 1987 as Radio RT4 . The main shareholder was the Reutlinger General-Anzeiger .

In the first few years, Radio RT4 shared the 103.4 MHz frequency with Radio Neufunkland . The broadcast was from the Raichberg with an output of 25 kW . The broadcast times were from midnight to 2 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to midnight, on Saturdays from 0 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Sundays from 5 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to midnight.

From 1991 Radio RT4 was allowed to use the frequency all day. Since the program of the Stuttgart station Antenne 1 was temporarily taken over, the name was changed to Antenne RT4 .

In 1994, the transmission areas of antenna 1 and antenna RT4 were merged. From Reutlingen only Monday to Friday the program “Akku” came from 1pm to 4pm, on Saturdays the magazine “Weekend” from 10am to 2pm and on Sundays the popular program “Mit Pauken und Trumpeten” with Wilfried Haselberger from 9am to 12pm and the "playing time" from 1pm to 3pm.

The name Antenne RT4 and the last remnants from Reutlingen disappeared in 1999, when Antenne 1 was renamed Hit-Radio Antenne 1 .
