The Radio WAF Charts ran for 22 years on Radio WAF (local radio in the Warendorf district) from 1994 to 2016. The "WAF Charts" ran weekly, every Friday on Radio WAF. It started broadcasting in March 1994, and since then there have been 50 WAF Charts issues a year. It was the oldest listener hit parade on German private radio that ran continuously. Every week there was the Top15 and an additional 5 new presentations. A title could remain in the charts for a maximum of ten weeks, then it was forced to exit. The Top15 was voted together by the listeners on the Internet. Until 2003, so-called hit cards, which were displayed by the savings banks in the broadcast area, had to be filled out. The Radio WAF charts ran on Radio WAF every Friday from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. In previous years, the charts were broadcast on Friday evenings from 7 p.m.

Since the start of the broadcast there have been numerous moderators, u. a. Jan-Christian Zeller , Philipp Roggenkamp, ​​Markus Bussmann, Markus Westerbeck, Carsten Thiel and many more. Most recently, Simonn Pannock and Leonie Lagrange moderated the WAF charts, each alternating.

From 1999 to 2001 there was an annual Radio WAF Charts Party in the Stadthalle Ahlen. Star guests were u. a. Rednex , Captain Jack and Mr. President .

There was a special edition on New Year's Eve 2012: The Radio WAF Charts XXL broadcast ten hours of “the most successful party hits”, moderated by Simon Pannock and Carsten Thiel.

In May 2014, the show celebrated its twentieth anniversary with a special broadcast. All former moderators showed up with a message of greeting. For the occasion there was also a completely new sound design.

In January 2015, the WAF charts had a new slot. The show ran every Friday from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. Before that, every Monday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

On December 16, 2016, the RadioWAF charts were discontinued. The last chart show was not a regular edition. The presenters looked back on 22 years of WAF charts and played number 1 hits from the 22 years.
