Wheel wax

Wheel wax describes a group of waxes that are supposed to protect the paintwork and metal parts of bicycles.

The care products should cover the wheel with a closed surface and protect it against splash water and dirt. Parts susceptible to corrosion should be sealed in this way. The agents are mostly based on plastics such as perfluoropolyether (trade name Krytox), which form a solid lubricating film on the surface. Manufacturers of wheel waxes include a.
