Rafael Seco y Sánchez
Rafael Seco y Sánchez (* 1895 in Madrid ; † February 2, 1933 ibid) was a Spanish university professor, Licenciado en Filosofía y Letras and linguist. He taught and published as a university professor at the Universidad de Madrid and was the author of the "Manual de gramática española publicado" (1930). Seco y Sánchez was married to Carmen Reymundo Mariño, one of their sons is the linguist Manuel Seco Reymundo . The couple had other children such as Carmen, Elena and Rafael. His mother was Elena Sánchez Pastorfido.
