Raging Bull in Six Flags Great America ( Gurnee , Illinois ) is a steel roller coaster model Hyper Coaster manufactured by Bolliger & Mabillard , which opened on May 1, 1999.

It is 62 m high, reaches a top speed of 118 km / h and is the longest roller coaster in the park with a length of 1541 m. It is also North America's first hyper-twister roller coaster .

The name Raging Bull refers to a ferocious monster that terrorized the inhabitants of the old Southwest Territory.

The hypercoasters manufactured by B&M always have an "Out - & - Back" route, which means that the trains move away from a point on an almost straight stretch, then turn around and return to the starting point. Raging Bull is the only track that doesn't.

In 2008 the track got a new coat of paint.

Trains

Raging Bull owns three trains with nine cars each. Four people (one row) can be seated in each car. The passengers must be at least 1.37 m tall to be allowed to ride. Lap bars are used as a restraint system.
