Ragnar Rafael Jansson (born October 1, 1908 in Helsinki , † September 9, 1977 there ) was a Finnish sailor .
successes
Ragnar Jansson, who sailed for Merenkävijät , took part twice in the Olympic Games in the 6-meter class. At the Olympic Games in London in 1948 , he finished ninth as a crew member of the Raili , before finishing third with the Ralia four years later in Helsinki . Together with the other crew members Adolf Account , Paul Sjöberg and Rolf Turkka as well as skipper Ernst Westerlund , he secured the bronze medal behind the Americans led by Herman Whiton and the Norwegian boat led by Finn Ferner .
