Raižiai is a place in the Punia District , in the Alytus district , in the Alytus District , Lithuania . The village is located 7 km southeast of Punia and 5 km southwest of Butrimonys . It is the center of the sub-district. In 1889, today's Raižiai mosque , now a cultural monument, was built. 107 inhabitants live in the village (2011). There is a Muslim community.
