Raižiai Mosque
The mosque Raižiai is a Sunni - mosque in the village Raižiai , District Punia , in Alytus District Municipality in the district of Alytus , Lithuania . It was first mentioned in 1663. The current mosque was built in 1889 and renovated in 1993. In Soviet Lithuania , this mosque was the only open Lithuanian mosque. There is a registered Muslim religious community in the village. The Raižiai Mosque is a cultural monument.
