Rainer Siegel

Rainer Siegel (born October 5, 1963 in Linz , Upper Austria ) is an Austrian lawyer and writer.

Life

Rainer Siegel graduated from the Academic Gymnasium in Linz. From 1982 he studied law in Linz, Salzburg and Strasbourg and did his doctorate at the JKU Linz on church financing in Austria and France. Business studies took him to Belgium, France and Switzerland, where he acquired detailed knowledge of the countries that can be found in his books today.

After about ten years in the sporting goods industry and as a consultant at a management consultancy, he switched to a financial services company in the mid-1990s, for which he has been an independent partner in Berlin since then. Since 2001 he has been a lecturer in canon law at the University of Potsdam and advises church institutions on financial issues.

After various scientific publications, including in the "Archive for Catholic Church Law", he began to write thrillers with a current economic, cultural and scientific background in 2007 while recovering from an aviation accident.

He lives in Berlin with his wife and two daughters.
