Raingard eater

Raingard Eßer (* 1962 ) is a German historian .

Life

Eßer studied history as well as German language and literature at the University of Cologne and received his doctorate there in 1994. She taught history at the Universities of Cologne, Giessen , Potsdam , the London School of Economics and in Bristol . In 2011 she was appointed to the Chair of Early Modern History at the University of Groningen .

She specializes in early modern migration and the history of the Netherlands and England.
