Joachim Eibach
Joachim Eibach (born October 11, 1960 in Bremen ) is a German historian .
Live and act
From 1982 to 1988 he studied history and German literature at the Universities of Konstanz and Tübingen . After graduating as Dr. phil. at the University of Konstanz in 1993 with Bernd Wunder and Ute Frevert and his habilitation in Gießen in 2001, he became professor in Bern in 2010 .
His main research interests are the history of the house and family, Alexander von Humboldt , urban history , the political and cultural history of the Sattelzeit, interpersonal violence and gender as well as theoretical aspects and perspectives in historical studies.
