Raj Popat

Raj Popat (born June 17, 1986 in Newport ) is a Welsh badminton player .

Career

Raj Popat was the first national champion in Wales in 2007. Another title win followed at the championship in 2012. 2012 he took part in the Badminton European Championships. In 2012 he also won the Maldives International. In the same year he was also third with the Victoria International and third with the Auckland International.
