Rajko Miljić

Rajko Miljić is a former Yugoslav heavyweight boxer .

Miljić fought for the boxing department of FK Radnički Belgrade . He was Yugoslav Champion in 1975, and Yugoslav Vice Champion in 1974 and 1977. He also won the 1974 Balkan Championships in Constanța .

At the 1974 World Championships in Havana , he won a bronze medal. He had defeated the two-time European champion Yevgeny Gorstkow from the Soviet Union (tKo) in the round of 16 and the Moroccan Olympic starter Abdellatif Fatihi (tKo) in the quarter-finals, before losing on points in the semifinals against Marvin Stinson from the USA.

At the European Championships in 1975 in Katowice , he won against Felipe Pineiro Rodriguez from Spain 4-1, but then retired in the quarterfinals by disqualification against Mircea Şimon from Romania.
