Mariko Nishio

Mariko Nishio ( Japanese 西 尾 真理 子 , Nishio Mariko ; * around 1950 ) is a Japanese badminton player .

Career

Mariko Nishio won the women's individual competition at the Japanese Badminton Student Championships in 1972 and 1974 . At the Denmark Open 1973 she was third in doubles, at the All England 1975 she was in the quarterfinals of the singles. With the Japanese team she won gold in 1970 and bronze in 1974 at the Asian Games.
