Rocket was a GDR - children's magazine , which was first published in the year 1957/1958 and is mainly concerned with scientific and technical issues. It emerged from Die Schulpost , which was produced from 1946 to 1958 and was designed for the age group of 10 to 16 year olds. The rocket appeared monthly and was published by Junge Welt until 1962 . From 1962 the successor magazine Technikus appeared .
