Ralf Allgöwer (born April 4, 1964 in Geislingen an der Steige ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

Allgöwer began his career at SC Geislingen . He then went to VfB Stuttgart , where he took his first steps in adult football with the amateur team from 1984. There he made his debut on March 8, 1987 in a 2-1 home win against SV Waldhof Mannheim in the Bundesliga . He scored his only Bundesliga goal with the 1: 1 equalization. At the end of the season he moved to local rivals Stuttgarter Kickers in the 2nd Bundesliga . With the club he was second division champion and returned to the House of Lords. In his second first division season he came on eleven appearances as a substitute. Therefore, after relegation to his home club SC Geislingen, he went to the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg . He played there for two years before moving on to league rivals SSV Ulm in 1846 . Several times the promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga was only missed in the promotion games. In 1994 he returned to VfB Stuttgart and played for the league team. In 1996 he ended his active career.

Ralf Allgöwer is the younger brother of the multiple German national player Karl Allgöwer .
