Ralf Cramer

Ralf Cramer (born February 12, 1966 in Ludwigshafen ) is a German manager and was a member of the Executive Board of Continental AG from 2009 to 2017 . From 2013 to 2017 Cramer was President & CEO Continental China based in Shanghai .

education

In 1985 Cramer graduated from high school. From 1985 to 1990 he studied mechanical engineering at the University of Kaiserslautern and the University of Stuttgart . There Cramer also became a Dr.-Ing. PhD. In the meantime, he worked at the Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Engineering and Automation ( IPA ) and was particularly concerned with robotics in scientific projects and was a consultant for industry.

Professional career

From 1996 to 1999 Cramer was Executive Director for global industrial engineering at ITT Automotive in Frankfurt. In 1999 he moved to Grundig AG , where he was technical manager for the Car InterMedia System GmbH division. In 2002 he went to Continental AG and was appointed to the Executive Board in 2009 after various management positions. Between 2013 and 2017, Cramer was President & CEO Continental China in Shanghai and made a significant contribution to the growth of Continental AG in China.

Since 2018 he has been a member of the supervisory boards of PSM International and BBS Automation.

Private

Cramer is married and has two sons.
