Ralf Lübke
Ralf Lübke (born June 17, 1965 in Mülheim an der Ruhr ) is a former German athlete and Olympic medalist.
His great strength was the 200-meter course . In 1983 he surprisingly ran an indoor world record over this route, which he lost to Pietro Mennea after a few days . Until 1983 he started for the Mülheimer sports club Dümptener TV , from 1984 for the LG Bayer Leverkusen .
Lübke started at the Olympic Games in 1984 (5th over 200 meters; 5th with the 4-by-100-meter relay; eliminated over 100 meters in the VL) and in 1988 (bronze with the 4-by-400-meter relay ; Eliminated over 200 meters in the semifinals).
Today he works for Bayer in South America.
