Ralf Schnitzmeier

Ralf Schnitzmeier (born June 4, 1965 in Paderborn ) is a German business graduate and football official .

Working life

Before Schnitzmeier worked as a football official, he was managing director at the SPORTFIVE subsidiary SPORTFIVE-Tixx from 2000 to 2003 . He also worked for Stella AG for many years and was responsible for well-known musicals such as Starlight Express and Les Misérables .

In 2003 he switched to football and became managing director of the stadium company of the AWD-Arena near Hannover 96 . This commitment ended in 2008, whereupon Schnitzmeier switched to the medium-sized management consultancy UNITY AG as a business unit manager, where he a. a. Head of the IT implementation project at Bayer 04 Leverkusen and in the new BayArena . He stayed there until 2010.

During and after his time at Hannover 96, Schnitzmeier ran a soccer bar called "Nordkurve" opposite the AWD Arena.

On June 25, 2010, Schnitzmeier was introduced as the new managing director of Arminia Bielefeld . Schnitzmeier hit the headlines in early August 2011 when a penalty warrant for bodily harm and insult was issued against him for personal misconduct . As a result, Schnitzmeier and Arminia Bielefeld announced their amicable separation on August 16, 2011.

Private life

In addition to his professional obligations, Schnitzmeier, as the 11th Rose Monday morning order carrier of the Steinheim Carnival Society, is an ambassador for the Steinheim Carnival.

Schnitzmeier is married and has one child.
