Ralf Wagner

Ralf Wagner (* 1968 ) is a German university professor for business administration at the department for economics at the University of Kassel . Since 2006 he has held the SVI endowed chair for international direct marketing at the University of Kassel.

Life

Ralf Wagner studied business administration with a focus on marketing at Bielefeld University . In 2000 he received his doctorate as a research assistant to Reinhold Decker at Bielefeld University with the subject of modeling and analysis of multiple competitive reactions through the use of promotional instruments. He received the Venia legendi for general business administration in 2008 from the University of Bielefeld for the habilitation thesis "Complex Patterns in Marketing Management". He accepted the call to the newly founded "Dialog Marketing Competence Center" (DMCC) at the University of Kassel in 2006, first as a chair representative, then as a professor.

Ralf Wagner's research areas are marketing interactions in different cultures, changing direct marketing, competitive interactions and competitive intelligence as well as quantitative methods of marketing research.
