Ralphi - The Schlaubär from the Augsburger Puppenkiste is a television project of the Augsburger Puppenkiste .

It dates from 2005/2006 and contains 138 episodes. In the 15-minute film clips, the Schlaubär goes on a discovery tour for the knowledge channel BR-alpha . Various topics should be prepared in a child-friendly manner. Ralphi visits museums, travels on rivers and lakes and makes flying visits to mayors. The starting point is always the doll box with the familiar characters. A topic is discussed in each of the programs, from the advent calendar to the newspaper. Gerd Meyer spoke the role of Ralphi and Klaus Marschall took over the part of Kasperl , who acts in every episode .
Framework story
The general plot of the episodes was always the same: Kasperl faces a problem or argues with other dolls about a topic. Since he lacks the necessary expertise for the respective topic, he calls for Ralphi, who is supposed to get more detailed information for him. When Ralphi comes back to the doll's box at the end of the episode, the situation has mostly changed in the meantime.
For example, in the episode "Land Survey", Kasperl's neighbor claims that the fence between their gardens has to be removed because, in his opinion, the plots have been measured incorrectly. Kasperl then sends Ralphi to watch the geodesists at work. On his return, Ralphi notices that Kasperl not only tore down the fence, but also replaced it with his crocodile to protect himself against burglars and future complaints from the neighbor.
Another example is the episode "Bank", where Kasperl meets the rich Mr. Pfennigfuchser, who is constantly sitting on his money sack because he thinks banks are unsafe. After Ralphi had found out about banks, he and Kasperl meet Mr. Pfennigfuchser again, who, after hearing that money increases when it works, kneels in front of his money and yells at it to go to work.
Adaptations
In 2009 and 2010 SAD Home Entertainment GmbH released 5 DVDs of the programs, each directed by Wolfgang Köppendörfer, who also wrote the script for the episodes :
