… Magni blandinn ok megintiri… ('… mixed with strength and proud splendor…') is the second studio album by the German-Icelandic Viking metal band Falkenbach . It was released on January 21, 1998 via Napalm Records . It was also released on vinyl in 2002 via Skaldic Art Productions (limited to 1000 copies).

style

The texts are all in English and deal with Norse mythology . The album was more melodic than its predecessor and was highly praised by specialist magazines. The rock-hard magazine put the album on the list of "250 Black Metal Albums You Should Know".

Emergence

… Magni blandinn ok megintiri… is the last album that Vratyas was involved in alone. After the album, it was quiet around Falkenbach for almost 6 years, which sparked the rumor that he wanted to break up the band. In an interview, however, he says that he “thinks it's important to have the right time for an album without paying attention to commercial aspects.” In 2003 he released the follow-up album Ok nefna tysvar ty .
