Ramatoulie DK Sanneh

Ramatoulie DK Sanneh is a Gambian general in the Gambia Armed Forces .

Life

In May 2006, she was the Corporal ( Corporal ) to Captain transported. From April 2008 she was a major . In May 2011, it was the rank of colonel ( Colonel ) to Brigadier General transported. She was the first female member of the Gambian army in the rank of general . Sanneh was named as an example of decreasing gender inequality and at the same time as a role model for other women.

In December 2018, she made public statements on gender-based violence .

In 2010 she was awarded the Order of the Republic of The Gambia by the Gambian President Yahya Jammeh at the member level .
