Ramdas Gandhi

Ramdas Mohandas Gandhi (* 1897 in Durban , South Africa , † April 14, 1969 in Bombay ) was the third son of Mohandas Gandhi and was active with his father in the independence movement in India .

He grew up in South Africa . Although he never had his father's idealism, he still took part in the demonstrations of the 1930s. Numerous prison terms have damaged his health, but he survived his parents and three brothers.

With his wife Nirmala he had three children Sumitra , Kanu and Usha .
