The Rameau Ice Shelf is an ice shelf in the southwest of the West Antarctic Alexander I Island . It is in the middle of the Rameau Inlet .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named the ice shelf in connection with the inlet on December 8, 1977 after the French composer Jean-Philippe Rameau (1683–1764).
