The Rameau Inlet is a partially icy bay in the southwest of the West Antarctic Alexander I Island . It lies on the north coast of the Beethoven Peninsula between the Pesce Peninsula to the east and Cape Westbrook in the west. The inner part of the bay is filled with the Rameau Ice Shelf .
It was mapped using Landsat images from January 29, 1973. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named the inlet on December 8, 1977 after the French composer Jean-Philippe Rameau (1683–1764).
