Ras Teyonas or Cape Tajuni is a cape at the easternmost point of the Great Syrte south of Benghazi in Libya .

In ancient geography the cape was called Boreion arkon ( Βόρειον ἄκρον ) or in Latin Boreum Promontorium . The cape is mentioned in Strabon Geographika 17 p. 836, Pliny Naturalis historia 5, 4 and Claudius Ptolemy Geographia 4, 4, 3
