The town hall in Svoboda nad Úpou (German Freedom ), a Czech town in the district of Trutnov of Hradec Kralove Region , was built 1869th The address of the town hall is Freedom No. 78.
In 1869, the previous wooden building was demolished and the two-storey town hall built by master mason Anton Gansel on the same site. When it was demolished, the year 1677 was discovered in the dining room, so that the old building can now be dated.
In the roof pommel of the town hall tower is a certificate about the construction of the town hall and the local history.
In 1919 the tower clock was replaced by the tower clock manufacturer Rudolf Thöndl from Mährisch Neustadt .
