Spacecraft

As spacecraft all objects (manmade be missiles ) in the space indicated. The designation is an umbrella term for:

• Rockets or their parts that transport payloads in space
• artificial satellites that orbit the earth or another celestial body
• Space probes that are not in any (targeted) orbit, but rather head for more distant targets in space
• Space shuttles , spaceships , spacecraft , space capsules that transport people in space
• Space stations that allow people to stay longer in space

Sometimes debris is also counted as spacecraft. These are then given a COSPAR designation .
