Rawitsch-Nunatak is a Nunatak on the Leopold-and-Astrid-Coast of the East Antarctic Princess Elisabeth Land . It rises at the base of the West Ice Shelf .

Australian scientists named it after the Russian geophysicist Mikhail Girschewitsch Rawitsch (1912–1988), who was particularly concerned with the tectonic history of Antarctica .
