Father Ray Kelly S.PS (born April 1953 in Tyrrell Pass , County Meath , Ireland ) is an Irish Catholic priest and singer. He became known for his singing at a wedding in the St. Brigid′s & St. Mary parish church of Oldcastle in County Meath, northwest of Dublin on April 5, 2014 with a rewritten version of Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah .

Ray Kelly sang in his childhood and was part of the Dublin Priest Show , where he often appeared on the big stages.

He has already released two albums, a third is in the making. He gained international fame through his singing at the wedding of Chris and Lea O'Kane in April 2014. The video published on the YouTube video platform in the course of this had over 20,000 clicks within a few days. The video had over 72 million clicks by February 2020. His appearance was picked up by the media worldwide. In December 2015 Kelly was a guest on BBC Radio 4 on Midweek .

In 2018 he took part in Britains Got Talent , where he sang the REM song Everybody Hurts in the casting . He made it to the semifinals of the show.
