Raymond Geuss

Raymond Geuss (born December 10, 1946 in Evansville (Indiana) ) was Professor of Philosophy at the Faculty of Philosophy at Cambridge University in England until his retirement . Raymond Geuss taught philosophy in Heidelberg, Chicago, Princeton, Hamburg, Frankfurt and was a fellow at the Wissenschaftskolleg in Berlin. His most recent work focuses on political philosophy.

Geuss has been a naturalized British citizen since 2000.
