Raymond Wentworth

Raymond Wentworth (* 1933 in Worchester / Massachusetts ) is an American singer and composer.

Wentworth entered 1943 as a boy soprano in the Choir of Men and Boys of the All Saints Episcopal Church in Worchester under the direction of William Self . He then took singing lessons with Emma Reed Mitchell and was then with short interruptions a member of various choirs in the USA until 2000, most recently of the choir of St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Chicago for 22 years . He sang as a bass player, but also as a tenor and at times as an alto. Only after the end of his career as a choir singer did he turn to composition. His choral works were performed at Alliance Publications Inc. published.
