Raymundo Rodríguez
Raymundo Rodríguez González (born April 15, 1905 ; † unknown), also known by the nickname Mapache ( Spanish for The Raccoon ), was a Mexican football player who played in midfield .
Life
From the few data that have survived for posterity, we only know that “Mapache” Rodríguez was under contract with the CD Marte at least between 1928 and 1930 . In the 1928/29 season he won with the Marciano , the Mexican football championship and in 1930 he was part of the squad of the Mexican national team , her home country in the inaugural FIFA World Cup in Uruguay represented. There he completed his only international match on July 19, 1930 in the last preliminary round match against eventual runner-up Argentina (3: 6).
