Rake (heraldry)

The rake is a common figure often used in the Middle Ages on coats of arms in heraldry .

The rake , also known as a rake, represents an agricultural tool in this case and is used individually, crossed two or crossed with a scythe in the coat of arms. Occasionally a sheaf is placed under the crossed implements.
