The Rechener Park , also called Südpark , is a park in the Ehrenfeld district of Bochum . It is located to the west and east of Königsallee . To the south it is limited by the forest ring. The Schiller School and the Graf Engelbert School are adjacent to it in the western part ; to the east is the Drusenberg School and the Brothers Grimm School . The park was developed from the Rechener Busch in 1912 . House rake was not far . In the early days there was a stream and a waterfall in the park. The historic park ranger's house was demolished in 2017.
