The legal assistant is predominantly in Eastern Europe ( Lithuania , Ukraine , Slovakia , Russia ) and Scandinavia ( Denmark , Norway ) a state-recognized legal profession , usually with a training period of a few years. A Bachelor's degree is required in Lithuania and a law degree in Ukraine . In Russia, a secondary or incomplete legal education is sufficient.
