Red Morris, 4th Baron Killanin
George Redmond Fitzpatrick Morris, 4th Baron Killanin (born January 26, 1947 in Sligo , Ireland ) is an Anglo-Irish nobleman and film producer .
Life
Morris is the eldest son of former IOC President Michael Morris, 3rd Baron Killanin . He attended Gonzaga College , Dublin, Ampleforth College and studied at Dublin University .
In the 1970s, Morris worked as an assistant director before becoming the production manager of films such as The Draftsman's Contract and Gorky Park . He then took on the role of producer in a number of well-known films, most recently in Der Vorleser , which was also nominated for an Oscar in the Best Film category.
He usually goes by the name Redmond Morris in the films .
