Reformed Church of Alders
The Reformed Church Erlen is a baroque country church designed by the builder Hans Ulrich Grubenmann in Erlen in the canton of Thurgau .
The hall church built in 1764 with a front tower and a three-sided closure is the smallest church building in Grubenmann. Despite the villagers' financial concerns, the architect insisted on the construction of a brick tower and is said to have given them a bell as a thank you for agreeing to his construction plan. The roof construction led mining man with a truss out of bridge.
The original pulpit from 1764 has been preserved. The Rococo - stucco work by Johann Georg Graf , however, were removed and in 1999 reconstructed by Emil Home Gartner.
