Reformed Church of Tavannes
The Reformed Church of Tavannes is a church building in the municipality of Tavannes in the Bernese Jura .
A first church building is mentioned as early as 866. In 1385 there was a new Gothic building and in 1616 the tower was rebuilt. In 1728 the nave was lengthened by twelve feet . In 1938 the tower received its characteristic Bernese bell chamber with a pointed tower helmet. In the course of the interior renovation in 1972, the church was redesigned into a transverse church . The colored glass windows from 1979 are by Paul Dackert .
