Krekenava Regional Park

The Regional Park Krekenava is a regional park in Panevėžys District Municipality and kėdainiai district municipality , Lithuania . It was erected on September 24, 1992. The Nevėžis valley and the landscape with its natural ecosystems and cultural heritage are protected . The territory is 11,968 hectares. The regional park administration is located in Krekenava .

The forests make up 43%, water bodies 16%, bog 3%, agricultural areas 33%, settlements 3%.

The park is particularly known for the 61 bison that live there (as of 2010).
