history

The Reha-Verlag was founded in 1963 as Rehabiliationsverlag GmbH in Bonn . In 1985 the current name of the publisher was introduced, with Christa and Leo Sparty as shareholders.

In the 1980s, self-designed textbooks, guides, books for support and teaching materials for the needs of special schools, kindergartens and rehabilitation facilities were created.

In the spring of 1963, the first edition of the German Disabled Journal appeared, a journal with information for parents, relatives and the care staff of disabled children about legal judgments and news in the field of rehabilitation technology, as well as articles from the everyday life of those affected. Until the 1970s, the magazine was called Das disabled Kind, then, due to a growing number of readers, was called the Disabled Magazine. In 1990 the current name was chosen.

In 1999 the Reha-Verlag moved to Remagen .
