The Reichsbahndirektion Oldenburg / O. was an administrative district of the Deutsche Reichsbahn .

history

The later Reich Railway Directorate was founded in 1867 as the Grand Ducal Railway Directorate in Oldenburg . Initially, the management only included the route network of the Grand Duchy of Oldenburg State Railways in the Grand Duchy of Oldenburg . In 1914, the Prussian State Railways' lines from and around Wilhelmshaven were taken over in order to simplify the complex island operations on these lines by the Prussian State Railways.

In 1920 the railroad management became the railroad directorate Oldenburg / O. renamed, in 1922 the railway directorate with Reichsbahndirektion Oldenburg / O. their final name. The Reichsbahndirektion was dissolved on December 31, 1934 and most of the route network was taken over by the Reichsbahndirektion Münster (Westf) . Just
