Reich trainer

Reichstrainer is the predecessor of the national trainer .

During the Weimar Republic and the National Socialist era , national coaches were referred to as Reich coaches in several sports .

In German football there were only two Reich coaches, Otto Nerz (1923–1936) and Sepp Herberger (1936–1945). Until Otto Nerz was appointed, the German national team , which had played international matches since 1908 , had no coach. The national team was put together by the game committee of the German Football Association during this time .
