In-out procedure

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The all in and out procedure describes a form of husbandry in animal husbandry .

description

This method is especially in the pig in the pig farming but, operated, piglets and fattening pigs in other areas of pig farming and other animal species, for example in the rearing of calves , the bull fattening and poultry .

With this system, all animals are housed in a previously cleaned and disinfected stall and later removed again at the same time. The stable can then be cleaned and disinfected again. This prevents germs and bacteria from surviving from one group of animals to the other and infecting them again . One speaks of the interruption of the chain of infection. If necessary, the animals also have to be cleaned, which, however, usually only happens when keeping sows.
