Reiner Olzscha

Reiner Olzscha (born July 26, 1912 , † 1947 ) was a German hygienist and officer.

Life

In 1939, Olzscha worked as the second hygienist within the resettlement campaigns for ethnic Germans and was head of the “Hygiene and Statistics” department at the representative of the Reich Health Leader . He was employed as a medical advisor and SS-Obersturmbannführer in Office D 3 of the SS main office. During the Second World War he was head of the " Turkestan Working Group ", which had been implemented by the Reich Security Main Office within the Deutsche Morgenländische Gesellschaft (DMG), and as SS-Hauptsturmführer from September to October 1944 commanded the East Turkish Arms Association of the SS.

Olzscha worked as an assistant at the "Foreign University" of the University of Berlin.
