Reinhard Barsuhn

Reinhard Barsuhn (born March 23, 1943 in Königsberg ) is a German politician ( SPD , CDU ) and member of the Bremen citizenship .

biography

education and profession

Barsuhn studied nautical science at the Bremen Maritime School . He practiced the profession of head port master a. a. at the Senator for Construction, Environment and Transport.

politics

Barsuhn was a member of the SPD in the SPD local association Bremen- Neustadt and a member of the local executive committee. In the 1980s he was a board member in the SPD sub-district of Bremen-West. He later joined the CDU.

From 1979 to 1995 he was a member of the Bremen citizenship for the SPD for 16 years and worked in various deputations and committees of the citizenship. From 1983 to 1987 he was chairman of the audit committee, from 1988 to 1995 deputy chairman of the SPD parliamentary group. He was also a spokesman for building policy in the SPD parliamentary group. In 1993 he resigned from the chairmanship of the public utilities committee of inquiry because he was suspected of having known earlier about donation transactions between the city society and the Bremen SPD.

In 2007 he ran for the CDU Bremen unsuccessfully for the council Bremen- Woltmershausen .
