Reinhard C. Mannesmann (born November 22, 1946 in Remscheid ) is a German industrialist and manager .

Reinhard C. Mannesmann was born on November 22, 1946 in Remscheid. His parents were the entrepreneur Walter C. Mannesmann (1902–1984) and his wife Erika, b. Küster (1915-1989).

Live and act

Reinhard C. Mannesmann worked as a banker at the Royal Bank of Scotland in Edinburgh from 1969 . In 1970 he moved to the fittings manufacturer Brüder Mannesmann GmbH as commercial director, becoming its managing director in 1972. From 1978 he was the main shareholder of RC Mannesmann AG. In 1995, when the company went public, he was elected Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Brüder Mannesmann AG . In the following years he was the managing director of subsidiaries of the Brüder Mannesmann AG in Germany and abroad.
