Reinhard Hechenberger

Reinhard Hechenberger (born September 11, 1972 ) is an Austrian badminton player . He is national champion and multiple vice national champion with the team of BSC 70 Linz .

Career

In the juniors he was junior state champion in men's doubles with Armin Kreulitsch. Internationally he competed in 1993 with the BSC 70 Linz at the European Cup of National Champions in Norway to defend his title. In 1994 he started at Austrian International . He was Danube Cup winner with the team of BSC 70 Linz and has been playing individual tournaments with the seniors since 2010. He is eight times national champion with the 2nd team of BSC 70 Linz.

As a voluntary functionary, he has been chairman of the Askö BSC 70 Linz since summer 2001 and since that time also district administrator badminton of the Askö district of Linz. From September 2006 to June 2009 he was financial advisor for the Upper Austrian Badminton Association (OÖBV). He is a certified trainer and certified referee of the Austrian Badminton Association. Since 2000 he has been a course leader at the University Sports Institute (USI) of the Johannes Kepler University Linz.
