Reinhard Nordsieck

Reinhard Nordsieck (born June 1, 1937 in Berlin ) is a Protestant theologian , lawyer and author .

Nordsieck studied law at the University of Cologne and began his legal career in 1964 at various courts. On December 1, 1967, he was appointed judge at the Mettmann District Court . He later worked at the Wuppertal district court until his retirement .

From 1974, Nordsieck studied Protestant theology at the Wuppertal Church University . He regularly gives theological and legal lectures at schools, community colleges and community academies. His scientific and theological interest is particularly in the Gospel of Thomas ; so he wrote the first scientific commentary on the Gospel of Thomas in German.

Nordsieck has been a member of the SPD since 1958 .
